Nanofabrication Team Lead

Quantum Futures has been partnered up with an innovative superconducting start up in the EU who are looking for a Nanofabrication Team lead to join their team. As a Nanofabrication lead, you will take charge of our team, overseeing the advancement and production of superconducting circuit chips.




Responsibilities:


You will conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, closely monitor their training and progress, and effectively manage workloads.

You will drive the expansion of the team by leading recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.

You will ensure the seamless operation of our nanofabrication process, streamlining workflows for maximum efficiency and quality.

You will be responsible for the intricacies of fabrication and characterization techniques for 2D and 3D circuits, maintaining consistently high-quality results.

You will schedule and organize the fabrication of samples as outlined in NSI meetings, ensuring on-time delivery through efficient resource allocation and active problem-solving.

You will foster productive collaborations with academic partners involved in nanofabrication and liaise with suppliers to facilitate resource access.

You will contribute to the creation of a long-term nanofabrication process development roadmap. Focus areas include junction reproducibility, coherence time enhancement, and 3D integration.

You will drive internal technological capabilities forward by procuring new equipment and contributing to clean room infrastructure development.



Requirements:


The successful candidate will possess advanced technical skills in nanofabrication.

They will exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

They will demonstrate effective leadership skills to manage and lead a dynamic team.

They will be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners.

They will be prepared for frequent work in a cleanroom environment and travel to partner technology platforms as needed.



Candidates must relocate to Paris and work on site.




A suitable candidate would be interested in moving into superconducting start up or full stack companies that push the boundaries of technology.
