About the Company:

Quantum Futures is a talent partner for a leading full-stack quantum computing company in Spain, which is currently seeking an experienced Hardware Control Engineer to join its onsite team. You would be working with a team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to develop next-generation of Quantum Technology for their gate-based systems and their coherent quantum annealers.

About you:

The ideal candidate will work on the Control Electronics and Quantum Operating System and will have a strong background in Software Engineering, Python, Measurement and Characterisation and the ability to translate the results from research into usable code for the Quantum Operating System.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Quantum Applications Engineers, Theorists

• Control System Engineers to develop the Quantum Operating System

•  Develop internal compilers, runtimes, or programming languages. 

Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in Physics, Quantum Computing, Quantum Mechanics, and Computational Physics.

• Extensive experience in software development, Python.

• Documented ability to translate research results into functional production code.

• Good documentation skills.
