Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize optical systems for quantum sensing applications, utilizing your expertise in optics and laser technology.

• Utilize optical simulation software, such as ZEMAX, to design and analyze optical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

•  Implement laser locking and frequency stabilization techniques to achieve precise and stable laser operation. 

• Apply your experience in the selection of optical components suitable for space travel, considering factors such as reliability and environmental conditions. 

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing your optical engineering knowledge and managing projects to ensure successful outcomes. 

• Communicate project progress and findings fluently in English, both verbally and through well-written reports and presentations. 

Requirements: 

• Completed studies in physics or optical engineering, with a strong focus on optics and laser technology. 

• Extensive experience in the development of optical systems demonstrated through several years of practical experience. 

• Proficiency in using optical simulation software, such as ZEMAX, for designing and optimizing optical systems. 

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with laser locking and frequency stabilization techniques. 

• Experience in the selection of optical components suitable for space applications is considered an advantage. 

• Proven ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, leveraging your strong interpersonal and project management skills. 

• Fluent in English, enabling clear communication and collaboration with international colleagues and stakeholders.
