About the Company:

As the Quantum Architect, you will be responsible for designing innovative quantum architectures utilizing their photonic quantum platform. You will deeply understand the quantum optical principles governing our photonic hardware and develop strategies to gain quantum advantages.

Working closely with our hardware experts, you will derive comprehensive system specifications for the manufacturing of corresponding photonic chips. Your designs will help the company to execute quantum algorithms and address industrial use cases.

Responsibilities:

• Design innovative quantum architectures that effectively leverage the unique advantages offered by their photonic hardware platform. Deeply comprehend the fundamental quantum effects governing our photonic quantum chip.

• Identify and exploit quantum advantage effects that have practical applications.

• Define comprehensive and precise specifications for the design implementation. Develop advanced techniques for quantum error mitigation and correction on their photonic platform.

• Stay abreast of the latest technological developments in the field, fostering a curiosity-driven approach.

Requirements: 

• PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or a related relevant field.

• Experience in quantum optics, non-linear optics, and integrated photonics.

• Knowledge of different quantum computing approaches, quantum algorithms, and hardware platforms.

• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with quantum programming languages.

• An analytical, creative, and collaborative approach to working in a dynamic start-up environment.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
