Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement experiments to investigate quantum sensing applications, such as magnetic sensing, gravitational sensing, and quantum metrology. 

• Develop and maintain experimental setups, including lasers, detectors, and amplifiers 

• Analyse experimental data using statistical analysis and signal-processing techniques

• Collaborate with other researchers to develop new quantum sensing techniques and applications 

• Communicate experimental results effectively through written reports and presentations 

• Maintain accurate records of experimental data 

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures for working with lasers and other high-energy equipment 

Requirements: 

• PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field

• Strong background in quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, and optics 

• Experience with experimental techniques, such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and electronics 

• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Matlab, or LabVIEW 

• Strong problem-solving skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Strong communication skills 

• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures for working with lasers and other high-energy equipment.
